Subscriptions and Credits

Flova uses both subscriptions and credits. Your available plans and prices may vary by region, account status, campaigns, and tax rules. This document explains how billing works and where to check details; actual prices, purchasable plans, credit amounts, and model costs are based on what you see in the app.

How Credits Work

Credits are Flova's standard unit of usage. When you start a generation from chat, the storyboard, the Media Files Panel, the Preview area, or another creation tool, the system automatically deducts credits based on the task type.

Common factors that affect credit usage include:

  • Generation type: image, video, music, voiceover, upscale, and more
  • Model used: different models have different cost rules
  • Generation specs: video duration, resolution, frame rate, image size, audio length, and more
  • Reference mode: whether image references, video references, first-and-last-frame references, and similar modes are used
  • Concurrency and channel: some models or acceleration channels may use different cost rules

Before starting a generation, check the estimated usage shown by the current model or tool entry. Final charges are based on in-app billing and usage records.

How to View Your Actual Price

Because prices are shown dynamically based on your account and region, use the in-app pages as the source of truth:

  • View membership plans: top-right corner -> Upgrade Membership -> Membership page
  • View credit balance: top-right corner -> directly view credit usage
  • View pricing details: top-right corner -> Manage Account -> Pricing Details -> Model Pricing
  • View credit details: top-right corner -> Manage Account -> Credit Details

How to Get Credits

Subscribe to a membership

After subscribing to a paid membership, you usually receive the corresponding membership credits and benefits. The amount of membership credits, validity period, whether extra top-ups are supported, and which plans are available in each region are based on the in-app subscription page.

Extra top-up

Some accounts can buy extra credit packs on top of their membership. For large credit purchases, email [email protected] or contact the official community admin according to the page instructions.

Free and reward credits

Flova may provide exploration rewards, invitation rewards, weekly credits, super-creator rewards, or campaign rewards. The amount, validity period, eligibility, and usage limits of reward credits follow the current product page, community rules, or campaign rules.

Deduction order

The system usually deducts credits that expire sooner first. Specific deduction and expiration records can be viewed in Credit Details.

What Membership Plans Include

First, Flova provides different credit usage benefits by membership tier. In general, higher-tier memberships include more monthly membership credits, larger credit spending discounts, and may provide higher top-up, generation, or model usage benefits. Specific credit amounts, discounts, and available benefits are based on the in-app membership page: top-right corner -> Upgrade Membership -> Membership page.

Beyond credit usage benefits, membership tiers usually also differ in feature benefits:

Specific tier names, prices, credit amounts, and benefit scopes may vary by region, campaign, and product version. Always check the in-app membership page for the plans and benefits currently available to your account.

Model and Generation Usage

Different models and tools use different cost methods. The core framework is: cost for one generation = billing unit x usage, then adjusted by model unit price, spec tier, reference mode, channel, and discount. More specifically:

Generation type determines the billing unit. Images are billed by image, videos by second, audio / music by generation, and upscale by the amount of content processed. Different types use completely different measurement methods, so image usage cannot be used to estimate video usage.

Model used determines the unit price within the same generation type. In general, newer models or models with stronger image quality and results have higher unit costs. The model you choose directly determines the "unit price" part.

Generation specs increase usage on top of the billing unit. Longer videos and higher resolution / frame rate increase the total cost accumulated by second. Larger image sizes or higher quality tiers cost more per image. Longer audio or voiceover consumes more credits. Specs often affect both the unit price tier and total usage.

Reference mode may switch the task to a different price tier. For example, video generation with video reference usually uses a separate price list from generation without references. Image references, first-and-last-frame references, and similar modes may also change unit cost. In other words, adding a reference is not only a feature difference; it may also change the billing tier.

Channel and scenario can also affect the unit price for the same model. For example, pricing may differ by membership tier, and regeneration (non-first generation) is usually calculated at a discounted price and costs less than the first generation. Note: concurrency included in a plan refers to how many tasks can run at the same time. It is a benefit limit and does not by itself change the cost of a single task.

For specific calculations, see Model Pricing and Credit Details: top-right corner -> Manage Account -> Credit Details or Pricing Details.

Subscription Changes, Refunds, and Receipts

Upgrade subscription

  • Available upgrades, price-difference rules, and handling of unused benefits are based on the subscription page.
  • The new subscription period usually starts from the upgrade date. Exact rules are based on the checkout page.
  • Whether monthly-to-annual changes, cross-tier upgrades, or other changes are supported depends on the options currently visible to your account.

Cancel subscription

  • Go to the subscription page -> Manage Subscription -> Cancel Subscription.
  • After cancellation, purchased benefits usually remain available during the current billing cycle. The subscription will not renew automatically after the cycle ends.

Renewal and promotions

  • Subscriptions usually renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled before renewal.
  • Discounts, available regions, restoration rules, and expiration conditions for promotional subscriptions are based on the campaign rules and checkout page.

Refunds

  • If generation fails due to a system issue, the corresponding credits are usually refunded automatically.
  • Within 7 days after the latest payment, if there has been no generation activity, including chat, image generation, video, music, and voiceover, you may request a full refund by contacting [email protected].
  • Refunds usually return to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Actual arrival time may depend on the payment channel.

Receipts

  • After a successful subscription, the receipt is usually sent to your registered email.

If you run into issues

  • Top-up not received: first confirm whether the payment succeeded, then check usage and pricing details. If it is still abnormal, contact [email protected] and include the order time.
  • Credits deducted but no final video: check the project generation status. If it shows failed, credits are usually refunded automatically. Otherwise, contact support.
  • Are failed generations refunded: failures caused by system issues are automatically refunded, based on billing and usage records.
