Generation Tools
Manual generation is useful when you want direct control over generation parameters. You can review and modify the current media's Prompt, parameters, reference media, and related settings, then generate a new media version. It also provides common media reprocessing features, such as image and video upscale, extracting a video frame, and removing subtitles. These features are useful when you want to continue processing existing media instead of generating it again from scratch.
Edit generation settings
After you click any media, the Preview area shows the current media. After entering the edit entry, you can review the settings used to generate the current media. Editable fields vary by model type; for example, for image or video generation, common settings include:
- Prompt
- Model and generation parameters
- Reference images
- Reference video or audio
You can modify these settings directly and generate the media again. New media from manual generation and regeneration usually becomes a new media version inside the current asset.
Add or replace reference media
Reference media can be dragged in from the Media Files Panel or any media item in the storyboard to add a new reference or replace an existing one.
Media processing
The Preview area provides common media processing features:
- Image and video upscale
- Videos support extracting a frame from the current video image
- Videos generated by Seedance 2.0 support removing video subtitles
New media from upscale and subtitle removal is generated as new versions inside the current asset. Extracting a video frame creates a new asset in the Media Files Panel.
Use it in parallel with the Agent
You can manually adjust generation settings or process existing media on the left while the Agent continues other tasks on the right. For example, while the Agent is generating later shots, you can upscale a key character image or manually regenerate a reference image first.
If manual generation and an Agent task affect the same content, the system opens a conflict panel and asks you to choose which version to keep.
Usage tips
- Use manual generation when you need clear control over the Prompt, model, parameters, or reference media.
- Before using upscale, extracting a video frame, or removing subtitles, confirm that the selected media version is the one you want to process.
- Like key results after generation so they become the default version later.
